SYNOPSIS: Eve, a poor flower girl, learns that her mother, a singer, had married Bentley, the son of a rich man, but the old father disinherited the son for marrying a stage performer. Bentley deserted his wife the night Eve was born and their nurse raised the girl after her mother died. When the old nurse falls ill, Eve goes to a cafe to sell flowers to raise money for her. She sells all her flowers but she meets Victor Austin who makes advances towards her. She escapes and returns home, only to find the nurse dead. Eve discovers some old letters hinting at her father's whereabouts and she plans to set out to find him. Along the way she is robbed of her ticket and money and joins up with a theatrical troupe who pity her. The star of the company, James Gordon, falls in love with Eve, but she learns that he is married and runs away. Gordon receives an important offer from the New York stage while Eve finds her father who has now come into great wealth. He plans to marry Eve off to Victor Austin, but meanwhile, Eve has learned that Gordon's wife, who never really loved him, has died. Eve travels to New York and finds Gordon at the theatre where they are happily reunited.
